Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park is the largest and best-known Disney park at the Disney Resort near Paris. Most guests recognize Disneyland Park by the beautiful Sleeping Beauty Castle located in the heart of the park. This beautiful castle is the center of Parisian magic. There are five theme areas surrounding this center, each with its own character
The worlds of Disneyland Park
The five worlds that the park has to offer are each unique and have their own story. The only thing they all have in common is that they are connected to the main square. You can easily find your way back via the central square with the beautiful castle, but you can also easily switch between themed areas.
Mainstreet USA
Main Street U.S.A. or more commonly Main Street is the main street that connects the Town Square entrance via Central Plaza to the rest of the park. Dream away and experience the atmosphere of 20th century America. There are several shops and restaurants on Main Street. If you look closely, you will see the names of the creators who designed the park and the name of Walt Disney himself. Unique to Main Street in Paris is that parallel behind the shops there is a covered area called the Liberty Arcade with an exhibition about the Statue of Liberty.
Frontierland
From Central Plaza you enter Frontierland via Fort Comstock. A theme area reminiscent of the Wild West. This town is called Thunder Mesa and contains some major attractions such as Phantom Manor and Big Thunder Mountain. Thunder Mesa was a prosperous town when much gold could still be mined from the mountains of Big Thunder Mountain. Will you join the ‘Wild ride of the wilderness’ to discover if there is still gold to be found?
Adventureland
Walk through the Arabic gate and walk through the small hidden city into the jungle or first visit Agrabah Café for a nice meal. Once your stomach is full you can brave the jungle and climb to La Cabane des Robinson where you can enjoy the panoramic views that the tree house has to offer. Or go on an adventure in Adventure Isle to avoid the pirates and find the treasure in the temple.
Discoveryland
Discover the future through the eyes of many discoverers and makers from the last century. Step into their shoes and see what they thought the future would look like. Get into Captain Nemo’s Nautilus or be blown away (literally) according to Jules Verne’s idea in Space Mountain or get into the futuristic cars in Autopia.
Fantasyland
You can enter Fantasyland through the castle. This is where Disney’s classic fairy tales come to life. This area has mainly family attractions and is ideal for children. Take a ride on Le Carrousel de Lancelot or fly on the back of dumboin circles and visit Neverland with Peter Pan. Who else can you find? Well, Mickey Mouse has his own meet and greet location there.
The attractions
There is an attraction for everyone! Disneyland Paris offers you attractions that give you an adrenaline boost, but there are also plenty of attractions that will amaze you. Go on an adventure with your favorite Disney character such as Buzzlight laser blast, Pinocchio’s ride or the Haunted Mansion. Each attraction has its own story
Restaurants
Are you already hungry and could you use a tasty snack between adventures? No problem! Disneyland Paris has plenty of options to satisfy your hunger. Such as a snack for small prices or you can opt for the larger variants that are a bit more expensive. In addition, you can always ask questions if you have special dietary requirements, such as gluten-free or vegetarian. During the seasons, Disney often has special snacks that are too fun and delicious to pass up.
