About Us

Hey Guys! We are Marc (32) & Marieke (31). As little children we were crazy about Disney. This love for Disney followed us in our adulthood. Our common love for Disney was actually the starting point of our own love story.

We have had a lot of Disney adventures together. In december 2016 we went to Disneyland Paris together for the first time. Since then went back at least once a year. In 2017 we even had our big adventure. our first trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida. In the summer of 2023 we had the privilege to visit again! and we added an extra trip to the original Disneyland as wel in Los Angeles.

Marieke’s love for Disney started with the movie Phantasia. She drove her mom crazy by only wanting to watch that movie. Nowadays she still loves to watch Disney & Marvel movies. Her favorite movies are Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin (live-action), Captain Marvel and Turning Red. The first time she went to a Disney Park, she was 14 years old and has gone at least 8 times since then.

Marc`s love for Disney stared with his first trip to Disneyland Paris. Of course he saw a lot of movies such as Lion King, Pinocchio, Peter Pan and all the shorts with Mickey and his friends. But the trip in the 90s with his family has a special place. Marc is obsessed with Technology and Disney is one of the pioneers to make magic happens with technology. Marc`s favourite parade is also The Main Street Electrical Parade. He loved all the lights and hopes they will bring back this spectacular show. 

Since 2017 we are living together. In April 2018 Lilo the bunny joined. Pepper the dog joined our little family in June 2020. We are both Dutch and have lived in The Netherlands for our whole lives. Fun fact, Lilo is named after Lilo from Lilo & Stitch and Pepper is named after Pepper Potts from Iron Man (she even reacts when Tony Stark says Pepper’s name in the movie).

Why Magical Vacations Guide

Disneyland is the most magical place in the world. Disney has so much to offer that you can get overwhelmed. Good preparation is therefore definitely recommended, but what should I pay attention to? or what is a real must see? Just two questions that often reach us from family and friends. There is so much to see and experience that 3 days is actually too short. What we also often hear is which hotel is really something for us?

We do this via our website, Instagram and YouTube account where we share useful tips and facts. But also the latest updates from the park such as the expansions in Walt Disney Studios.
